TIGIS EUROPA MICA (Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance)
These attributes are, for example:
A safety parameter that is well above the valid European standards.
An economic factor that is characterised, among other things, by fast availability.
The box body change, which ensures cost reduction and readiness for operation in a short time.
The optimised ergonomics and spatial planning with the side lift, which makes the working conditions for the staff much easier.
As Project Manager of the TIGIS EUROPA, I accompany the vehicle from the first design drafts to the technical implementation. Effective project planning ensures quality in every phase. .

Design and construction
The high-strength frame construction does not corrode. With innovative bonding, riveting and bolting technology, you no longer need to worry about corrosion.
You will be surprised by the high driving stability. This is made possible by the exceptionally high torsional rigidity of the lightweight aluminium frame.
The frame consists of anodised lightweight profiles, in which supply lines are laid to save space. Between the profiles, a 40 mm thick layer ensures particularly good sound and heat insulation.
How important is vehicle safety for you? How important is it for you and your patients to travel with a safe vehicle? The TIGIS EUROPA shows its superiority especially in terms of safety.

Lateral light technology
In the side blue light hoods are a searchlight for house numbers, a LED blue light element and two work lights on each side.
Corner lights as standard
The corner lights activate as soon as the reverse gear is engaged and complement the normal reversing light.
Roof construction and front area
Aerodynamic, segmented and high-strength roof construction. The segments can be easily removed from the outside for servicing. Front area: Two blue light hoods on each side. In each of the upper blue light hoods there are three carriers with a total of nine high-power LEDs. Each one of the hoods below has a carrier with three high-power LEDs.
In the middle, there are two superimposed blue light strips. The upper one contains additional flashes with 12 high-power LEDs and in the centre, the optionally available power flash with a total of 6 power LEDs. The lower blue light strip includes the cruising light.
Light technology in the rear area
In the rear area, there is a light module on each side and a module in the middle. In the outer modules, a carrier with a total of nine high-power LEDs and flash light LEDs are integrated on each side. In the middle, there are two LED work lights, two yellow Sputnik LEDs for rear protection and two blue Sputnik LEDs.
Interior – Complete ABS-fittings
You control the on-board functions on the bright control panels of the TIGIS EUROPA. Whether blue light, sound system or air-conditioning: a press on the button is enough. The luminosity is generated by organic light emitting diodes. By displaying different colours, they give you feedback on whether the function is enabled, disabled or defective. If a fuse is defective, for instance, the corresponding function button lights up red.
Control panel in the patient compartment
Control panel with up to 15 functions as switch or display and two seven-segment displays for the temperature in the middle: Patient compartment lighting, buzzer, intercom, ceiling fan volume radio/DVD, electric floor mounting rail for carry chair, function display seat recognition.
Control panel on the sliding door
Control panel with up to 2 functions as switch or display: Work lights, rear flash, reverse warning system, rear lowering.
Control panel at the rear
Control panel with up to 6 functions as switch or display: Patient compartment lighting, work lights, rear flash, reverse warning system, rear lowering.
Touch Control panel
Touch-sensitive screen for controlling of: patient compartment lighting, stretcher platform, air-conditioning, auxiliary heating, roof vent, thermo boxes. Display of: Date, time, internal temperature, temperature of the thermo boxes, battery voltage of the vehicle and auxiliary battery, software versions.
Control panel on the central console
Control panel with up to 15 functions as switch or display and with a colour display in the middle: Blue light power flash, front flash, rear flash, special flash, sound, city-country control, work lights, air conditioning, heating, reverse warning system, patient compartment lighting, rear lowering, function display of 230 V – inlet.
Very easy to lift off!
The new underfloor – LRA 260 side lift. Equipped with the new LRA-260 lift, patients in the patient chair are comfortably and quickly lifted into the patient compartment. When you open the side door, the lift moves out and functions as a step board. Using the remote control you complete the transformation of the step board and the lift is ready for operation. The CE test certificate proves our conformity with the EU Regulation 765/2008.
